Managing Targeting

Targeting is a process of selection of potential customers to whom a business wishes to sell products or services.

To target accounts or contacts, create a Marketing Cycle.

To set up targeting:

  1. Define departments to categorize representatives, allow representatives to manage targets, and set up application settings to use target management.

  2. Add Division Target Frequency to associate user and marketing cycle divisions with accounts and contacts division fields.

  3. Create new customer categories to associate required product record types with created categories of customers.
