Workshop 6.1: Configuring Product Availability

In Workshop 6.1, you’ll learn how to allocate products and freebies based on their availability on delivery dates. In this workshop:

  1. Learn about default product availability and override it, if necessary, by creating Product Availability records for specific products.

  2. Create two Product Availability records for a paid product:

    1. For the default unavailable CT Product, set the period during which it can be added to the delivery.

    2. For the default available CT Product, add the period during which it cannot be delivered.

  3. Create two Product Availability records for a freebie.

    1. For the default unavailable Freebie, set the period during which it can be added to the delivery.

    2. For the default available Freebie, add the period during which it cannot be delivered.

When you add such products and freebies to the order cart, the system blocks the quantity cells for those products that are unavailable on selected dates.
